Sweet Potato Black-Eyed Pea Curry

Add oil to a pan with cumin seeds, asafetida, Serrano pepper and ginger sauce for 2 minutes then add in cabbage, sweet potatoes and salt

Drain black-eyed peas & add to pan

Pour in crushed tomatoes, coconut milk, & curry powder

Mix all together, cover, and cook for 20 minutes or till sweet potatoes are soft (but not mushy)

Garnish with yogurt, pickled chillies , & chopped cilantro

Enjoy with grilled pita or on top with rice
