Description

People talk about the smell of pancakes on a Sunday morning or gingerbreads during Christmas, the smell of masala chai boiling on the stove is something I hold close to my heart, the sweet spices, the fresh mint and ginger takes over the whole house and it is delightful!!! The spices in chai also combine to create warmth in the body, perfect for a cold winters day, saying that, in India during the hottest season people will drink hot chai to cool themselves down, i never quite understood or believed that till i looked it up; apparantly when you drink hot drinks it increases sweat release which releases heat from within the body! FUN FACT :)
